This book is a good help for quick reading...it's necessary to have it on everytime you go to the hospital! ...it's changed my life and it's saved my time too...

This is one of the best biographies about Nelson ever written. The author's main goal of this book was to tell the story of Nelson the man rather than Nelson the legend. In this he succeeds admirably

I have bought preacher's annuals and sourcebooks before, and never found much of use in them. This resource, however, has proven to be much much different. There are several options for each Sunday of the year, excellent pastoral resources, and illustrations that really illustrate. The convenience of the book being available on CD-ROM is a HUGE help to me. I have preached several sermons from this resource and have found it to be very practical. I look forward to the 2003 edition.

This is one of the most compact Bibles I've ever seen! While compact, the text is quite readable with an easy to read Arial-type font. The New King James Translation provided in this Bible is also outstanding, following in the footsteps of the King James (Authorised) Version with its accuracy, beauty, and clarity. Very highly recommended.

If you truly want to understand the Bible Days this is a must have book. This book brings the Bible to life again. You can see every detail of how people really lived. This is not a dictionary but more of an Advanced Encyclopedia on how people really lived. I believe the Illustrated Version with the Photography is very important to have here. The Photography is so amazing and detailed. I also ordered, Nelson's New Illustrated Bible Dictionary : An Authoritative One-Volume Reference Work on the Bible, With Full-Color Illustrations... Using the two of these together you can really understand the meaning of phrases and words in the Bible.

Take for example if I said, "This is a really cool book". 1000 years from now you would think I was saying this book is very cold. But really I meant this book is very useful, neat, or exciting. These Two Nelson books go hand in hand.

This is one of the most practical and useful books on I Corinthians. It is packed full of information. I prefer it over all of my other commentaries put together. Chapters include: Introduction, Outline, Chapter-by-Chapter Commentary, Concise Commentary, Extended Commentary, Biblical Word Studies, Historical and Cultural Information, Context and Application Articles, Questions for Personal Reflection and Group Discussion, and in the Appendix: Illustrations, Outlines, and Sermon Starters. A great book to keep at hand. I've had it for years and everywhere I'm at and using it, people want to know all about it. Everyone is fascinated about the abundance of information the hand sized book contains.
